kahluagalApartment hunting sucks.
It looks like I'm going to have to spend at least $1900 a month to find an apartment on my own in a safer neighborhood with less threatening neighbors.
I am also avoiding settling for crappy apartments that remind me of my drunk dead boyfriend, Andy, who i compromised far too much on. I'll live on ramen rather than settling for the shite apartment we had. The dark one tiny window apartments with ugly layouts - rotten wooden floors, no bathtubs. They reminds me of what a loser Andy was. He truly, truly was - I see that now. He was broken, just like these apartments. I refuse to compromise any more. I'm moving because I don't feel safe in this neighborhood OR building, the apartment is too small and I deserve better - all of these things, and I have to believe I will find it.
