kahluagalThe nice apartments in safe neighborhoods are over $2000 a month. I'm considering some of the ones in the ghetto just to escape this shoebox depressing studio. I worry that I won't find a place with light.
Most of the apartments I've looked at in Brooklyn are disgusting - tiny. Dark. Depressing. The ones in Manhattan are barely any better. Kicking myself for all the mistakes I've made. Disgusted people have to live in these crammed nothingness - for what?
I saw a studio for $1600 that had a bathtub in the kitchen.
The idea of having to get a roommate devastates me, to have to do this to stay here.
I'm so depressed and broken and don't understand where it all went wrong.
I have no idea where I want to live, but in a year if I still live in this city I will die.
